Position Summary


As Human Resources Specialist you will be the single point of contact for your assigned clients and their teams, providing ongoing HR support including payroll-related matters and facilitating client growth through recruiting and other support programs.

Human Resources Specialists are responsible for supporting their assigned clients, ensuring their compliance, and helping them to grow their teams in Canada.

You will also take on special projects from time to time.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advise clients and workers on issues related to human resources including workforce planning, compensation management, performance management, compliance, vacation tracking, benefit administration, change management, grievance handling, employment equity, accommodations, return to work, coaching, termination, change of status, etc.
  • Manage the onboarding process for clients and their teams, including collecting and reviewing contracts and personal documentation, ensuring they are onboarded to all our systems, and providing orientation calls.
  • Manage and respond to support requests from your clients and other assigned tickets.
  • Collaborate with Sales to advise potential clients.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop manuals, blogs, customer service templates, and expand our internal Wiki.
  • Manage liaison of fullcycle recruitment for clients, from identifying and addressing talent requirements to onboarding new hires, working with various recruitment partners.
  • Perform regular audits of client and worker contracts and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to workflow processes and other efficiencies.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Maintaining Headcount report.
  • Liaison with product team for system improvement
  • Internal Trainings and employee engagement
  • Research and updating knowledge resources.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of Canadian employment standards, employment law, human rights legislation, health and safety, and payroll.

  • Organized and attentive to detail, practiced in balancing priorities.

  • High level of reading, writing, and comprehension.
  • High standards for polish and presentation.
  • Pleasant and engaging phone manner (fearless about calling to solve problems).

  • Comfort with using a variety of automation and digital tools.
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines, work under pressure and manage project timelines

  • You are effective both when working unsupervised or with a team

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience and a CHRP designation.


  • Bilingual

  • English and French.
