Emond Publishing, a leading Canadian law publisher since 1978, is looking for a
full-time
Sales Representative, located in
Alberta or British Columbia to join our higher education sales team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Sales and Business Development, and working closely with other members of the sales team you will be required to:
- Research potential prospects and create & track opportunities within a CRM database
- Maintain complete and accurate customer records
- Meet and exceed activity requirements and sales goals
- Analyze customer data as required to identify sales opportunities and risks
- Submit weekly activity report and participate in weekly meetings with the Director of sales
- Represent Emond at conferences, professional development workshops, etc.
- Participate in regular sales meetings (some may require travel to Ontario)
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Detail oriented and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Superior time management skills
- Competitive, selfmotivated and goal oriented
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to travel on occasion as business warrants
- Possession of a valid driver's license & access to a vehicle for campus visits
Other Information
- This position will be overseeing accounts in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia and should be located in or near a major city centre.
Salary starting at $40,000 per year plus commissions and incentives
