The
Material Review Board (MRB) Coordinator supports the process of reviewing, analyzing, and dispositioning non-conforming materials or products and supports their closure.


In this role you will:


  • Manage nonconformance tickets in the ERP system with the information supplied from various teams, including suppliers.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to provide additional information as required to support the closure of actions on open nonconformances.
  • Followup with responsible parties for timely closure of nonconformances.
  • Complete necessary ERP transaction to close nonconformance and move material/products in and out of quarantine locations.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of the technical information required for dispositioning and traceability of components.
  • Organize and maintain the quarantine areas throughout the production lines.
  • Ensure that nonconforming inventory/WIP is properly controlled.
  • Work with Production and/or Supply Chain to release/dispose of product/material from quarantine.
  • Support Identification and input direct and root cause for nonconformances to assist in data analysis and nonconformance KPIs.

You have:


  • Post secondary certificate or degree
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • One or more years of experience working with quality control or nonconforming product environment (preferred working within a Material Review board team in manufacturing).
  • Previous experience with electronic or cloudbased nonconformance management, tickets and associated technical writing.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize at the task level according to top level company objectives.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to influence and drive for results in a matrixed working environment.
  • Good understanding of computing tools and programs, including MS office suite.
  • Good understanding of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with composite, general machining, finishing and assembly processes, an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience in root cause/corrective action analysis tools (5 whys, Ishikawa, etc.) an asset.
