    The Mine EIT/GIT will report to the Sr. Geologist, Mine Development in the Potash Engineering, Technology & Capital group, as well as the Chief Mine Engineer on site during site placement(s).

    This is a temporary position, for 18 months.

    It is intended that this position will be located at our Rocanville site, for 18 months, but there is a possibility of the role moving to another site before the 18-month rotation is complete.

    What you will do:
    • The EIT will be placed in a site rotational program where they are stationed at a specific mine site for a 6 to 18-month term and then moved to the next mine site based on project priorities
    • As a part of the site Mine Engineering team, engage in a range of mine engineering services including rock mechanics, mine ventilation, and geotechnical and geophysical work.
    • Actively participate in safety programs.
    • Miscellaneous assignments as they arise due to need and priority.
      What you will bring:
      • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or equivalent from an accredited university
      • Ability to register with local Engineering Governing body (Association for Professional Engineers and Geoscientists)
      • Willingness to learn
      • Demonstrated safety leadership and positive safety behavior independently and in a team environment
      • Possess excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
      • Strong technical ability and analytic skills
      • Ability to adapt to changing timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Demonstrated accountability
