Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Office Administration
- Develop and maintain office policies
- Fleet vehicle administration and maintenance
- Oversee office equipment maintenance
- Restocking of product literature and promotional items
- Receive and distribute packages and envelopes
- Assistance in coordinating meetings
- Draft memos
- Order of all office supplies
- Maintain a comprehensive filing system
- Provide administrative support to our Eastern Canada office as required
- Organize company events
- Responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety program
- Develop and maintain Health and Safety policies
- Administer Health and Safety process and conduct safety audits
- Oversee facility maintenance requests and manage janitorial / custodial contract
- Other admin support duties as assigned
Reception
- Take accurate messages
- Receive and distribute mail and courier deliveries
- Preparing and coordinate envelopes or packages for mail / courier
- Distribute PPE to visitors
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of office administration is required
- Bookkeeping experience is considered an asset
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration is an asset
- Experience with Health and Safety is preferred
Skill / Competency Requirements
- Superior customer service skills
- A friendly, cando attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Solid work ethic with strong decisionmaking and problem resolution skills
- A selfstarter who takes initiative with mínimal direction and supervision
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic
Schedule:
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$38,500.00-$48,500.00 per year
