CNC Machinist/Operator - 4-day work week

Lynden Door Canada of
Yarrow, BC is currently hiring for an experienced
full-time CNC Machinist/Operator, but willing to train the right person. The role is responsible for operating a CNC wood router machine, and other woodworking equipment to manufacture doors and millwork.

This position is
Monday to Thursday, from
3:00pm to 1:30am. The hourly rate is dependent on experience.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CNC MACHINIST/OPERATOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience is
    preferred:
  • Able to read basic shop drawings
  • Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
  • Physically fit and able to stand and / or be on your feet for an entire shift
  • Be comfortable and safely using the equipment
  • Willing to be cross trained in all areas of production
  • Willing to take direction
  • Willingness to pursue additional training to enhance job skills
