Branch Manager
Under the guidance of the Regional Operations Manager, the Branch Manager will spearhead the daily activities of the branch.
You'll collaborate closely with your team to address challenges, identify operational enhancements, and engage with pivotal stakeholders at our head office.
Your pivotal role will involve bolstering the sales team, aligning efforts to meet sales targets. Embracing our culture of continuous development, you'll prioritize staff growth and contribute to shaping the company's cultural trajectory.Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Define and achieve budget targets encompassing revenue, margins, operational costs, occupancy costs, administration costs, and employee expenses.
- Champion account managers and inside sales staff, propelling them to realize revenue and margin goals.
- Oversee operations to drive optimal inventory turns and bolster gross margins.
- Efficiently manage the requisition of essential supplies, equipment, and outsourced services from primary and secondary suppliers.
- Continuously analyze and assess activities, costs, operations, budgets, and forecast data to gauge branch progression toward strategic goals.
- Collaborate with accounts receivable, credit management, and operations to steer accounts receivable activities.
- Spearhead annual budget planning, commencing each October.
Requirements:
- Possess a postsecondary education in business/commerce or equivalent expertise.
- Exhibit substantial experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in process enhancement or operational excellence.
- Command a solid grasp of financial and business acumen.
- Showcase exceptional interpersonal and communication finesse.
- Leverage industry or supply chain distribution experience as a distinct asset.
