Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, PTA/OTA, massage therapy or other health and wellness area
required: - Excellent communication intrapersonal and interpersonal skills
- Efficient organizational and time management skills
- Must be comfortable in using database software and Microsoft
- A professional and positive customer service attitude
- Well developed multitasking skills
- A dynamic, initiativebased approach with a cando attitude
- Effective problemsolving skills
- The ability to thrive independently and in a team environment
Orthopedic Bracing Specialist:
- Work directly with the client/patient to educate them on their injury
- Fit the patient with the best product(s) for their needs
- Follow customer care fitting protocol which includes followup appointments and calls
- Provide empathy and clear communication and education
- It is expected that employees are proficient to fit and be knowledgeable with all the products that we carry. Although training is provided, it is expected that employees take initiative to learn and understand products
- Follow AICC customer care protocols
- Inventory management
- Maintaining and forecasting, as well as annual mandatory counts
- Letter writing
- Writing and sending patient updates to the appropriate health care professional
Administration
Assist with the following:
- Greet patients, clients, coworkers, and physicians and be the first point of contact for these office visitors
- Answer and direct incoming calls received on a multiline phone system using a physical phone as well as a headset and soft phone
- Billing patients, insurance companies, and third parties for products and services
- Use company software for scheduling, patient information, invoicing, etc.
- Coordinate mail distribution and product orders
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, updating spreadsheets, etc.
- Accounts Receivable
- Patient files
- Ensuring all paperwork is correct
- Scanning and filing away patient files
Sales and Marketing
- Assist with creating, implementing and measuring the success of a marketing program that will enhance the organization's image and position within the marketplace and the public. Assist with marketing activities and materials including publications and media relations
- Communicate and articulate the organization's desired image and position, both internally and externally.
- Promote interest in the organization and ensure regular contact with target customers as required
- Help with visits and/or coverage to accounts/customers as required
- Facilitate Lunch and Learn sessions, and Educational events, as required
- Help to ensure the organization's philosophy, mission and vision (CULTURE) are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.
Salary:
$40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
