Turnaround Administrator - Temporary Position
Location: Project sites across Alberta, Canada. Accommodations will be provided, either in camp or hotel depending on project.
Employment Status: Temporary, project based role operating between March and October 2026. Hours will vary based on assigned projects and cannot be guaranteed throughout the entire season.
Hours: Hours and schedule will vary based on site-specific need throughout the season. Common shifts include 10-12 hours/day, 6 days on and 1 day off.
Apave Canada preparing for the 2026 Turnaround Season We are currently seeking Project Administrators to support turnaround projects across Alberta.
This is a temporary position for the turnaround season, with potential for extension into future turnaround work or transition into an office-based role.

Job Duties:
- Supporting time reconciliation in our timekeeping and project management software.
- Daily allocations in Track with a high degree of accuracy.
- Providing daily updates to our client following their required timelines.
- Creating daily time tickets and communicating with the site lead and client to obtain required billing information.
- Payroll allocations following applicable Alberta Labour Law and QCCC Union standard.
- Providing additional administrative support, as needed.
Requirements and Experience:
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A dedication to completing tasks on time and correctly the first time in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook is a must – this includes but not limited to experience with Pivot Tables, XLookups, Data validation, etc. This may be tested during the interview process.
- Previous experience with Track is required, any additional ERP software is an asset.
- Previous experience as a Turnaround Administrator is required – please provide references directly related to this role.
Safety Requirements:
- Steel-toe boots are required; Apave Canada will provide additional PPE.
- Schedule can vary, commonly 10-to-12-hour shifts, on-site. Typically, 6 on, 1 off.
- Must have your own transportation and valid driver's license.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
