Summary:

Reporting to the Planning and Inventory Manager, the Accounting Clerk (Customs & Brokerage) is responsible for completing payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices for all Cabela's international inbound freight charges.

Location (hybrid): 25 De Baets St., Winnipeg MB

Responsibilities:

Review and process international inbound freight invoices for payment.
Review and update freight factor calculation within SAP.
Organize and reconcile monthend payment/accruals.
Sort invoices according to payment terms to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner.
Match paid invoices to printed cheques by verifying the following information are correct: remittance address, invoice number, amount and currency.
Maintain historical records by filing documents.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Postsecondary education in accounting or business administration
1 2 years of related experience in administration and accounts payable
Detail orientated with strong communication and organizational skills
SAP experience is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
Ability to effectively function as a team player and work with crossfunctional teams
