- Ability to troubleshoot all mobile and fixed equipment on site
- Electrical and mechanical installations of sub-stations
- Read, understand and interpret prints
- Work with soft start and variable speed drives
- Install, set up and maintain underground and surface substations and pump stations
- Inspects equipment for proper performance and determines faults and malfunctions
- Adjust equipment & repair/replace defective parts components or systems according to scopes of work.
- Identifies additional repairs, compiles parts and labor estimates and communicates to supervisor.
- Tests repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance
- Completes accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, parts listings and submits drawing revisions.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must be an Ontario Licensed Electrician
- 3-4 years' experience in similar functions.
- Basic knowledge in mechanic and electricity
- Good physical abilities,
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work fluctuating schedules
