Job DescriptionThe Program Centre Coordinator is the first point of contact for the YWCA Metro Vancouver.You will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing and planning office services and related office activities to achieve efficient utilization of available resources.
This position will also be responsible for the reception area, answering the main switchboard and directing calls.What you'll be doing:

Program Centre
- Schedule and prioritize office needs to meet operating requirements
- Develop effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders
- Supervise the efficient use of office supplies and maintenance of office equipment
- Oversee maintenance and supply orders for photocopier, postage meter (manage funds) and fax machine
- Maintain switchboard and direct calls accordingly
- Act as a liaison with other departments
- Book, plan and coordinate any internal meetings
- Effectively manage and coordinate room setups with Building Service Worker staff
- Maintain a pleasant and secure working environment
Reception
- Provide a warm and welcoming reception
- Receive and redirect calls
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail / couriers in a timely manner
What you'll need:
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented nature and highly organized
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fastpaced environment, while maintaining a calm, positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and with proven time management and problemsolving skills
- Excellent computer skills
- MS Office Suite
- Knowledge and understanding of the YWCA programs
- Experience with emergency building evacuation
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
- The YWCA Metro Vancouver's COVID19 vaccination policy is currently suspended and as a result, vaccination from COVID19 is not required at this time. However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID19 in order to be eligible to continue performing your duties.

Pay Rate:
$24.27
