Park Solutions Inc is a small business in Metro Vancouver Regional District, BC. We specialize in hiking trail construction and take great pride in our work. We have become the go to company for many of the most popular trails in the Metro Vancouver region (ex. Grouse Grind and BCMC).


Our work environment includes:

• Metro Vancouver Parks
• District of North Vancouver Parks
• BC Parks

Duties:

• Assist with various construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
• Operate small machinery, such as tracked dumpers (training provided)
• Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of a skilled worker
• Assist in the installation of trail surfacing, steps, retaining walls, fences and bridges
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the job site

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class 5 driver's licence and a vehicle (to access worksites all over Metro Vancouver)
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
