Room Attendant


Reporting to:
Housekeeping Manager


Right now, we're looking for a Room Attendant - to make sure our rooms and suites are always 'fresh and welcoming' for our guests after a busy day - creating a haven for them to escape and relax in or get a bit of last-minute work done.

We'll need a little flexibility with your time so we can serve our guests the best we can.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa West is looking to fill _
full-time and part-time positions_ as a Room Attendant. If you enjoy working in a positive environment and adaptable to changing demands, this opportunity is the one for you


BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every opportunity.
  • Reporting all maintenance deficiencies to the maintenance department
- monitor and inventory guestroom supplies so that you always have the necessary tools to perform your duties.
- follow all security procedures when entering and working in our guest's rooms.

  • General cleaning of Guests Rooms as defined by IHG Clean Promise.
  • Follow all safety Procedures when lifting or moving heavy objects.
  • Keep clean and maintain all areas and equipment located within your linen rooms.
  • Knowledgeable on the use of the current equipment that is being used in our Guests Rooms.
  • Follow current Lost and Found Procedures when handing in Lost and Found.
  • Perform auxiliary tasks when required including cross training
  • Understand and follow all Emergency Procedures.

  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times
  • Must have a passion for delivering outstanding and personable service.
  • Selfmotivated, decisive, responsible and driven to achieve goals
  • Ability to think independently, possess good judgment, proven problemsolving skills and effective decisionmaking skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fastpaced environment with mínimal supervision
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism in demeanor and appearance.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to remain positive under pressure

Job Types:

$19.00 per hour
