** 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Monday to Friday

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The purpose of this position is to contribute to the daily technical operations of the Leddy Library computing environment for troubleshooting and maintenance of Library computer systems in order to provide dependable computing access.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have:
•A University degree in Computing Sciences or a computer related field or a 3-year advanced college diploma in Computer Systems Technology – Networking
•In addition, a minimum three (3) years of demonstrated / documented experience in the following: oComputer hardware, software and peripherals support oClient/system troubleshooting in Windows/Linux/Mac environments oWebsite development using Drupal or comparable frameworks oComputer programming and scripting
•An understanding of library functions, operations, processes and specialized software applications
•Must be bondable
•Commitment to ongoing training and education to remain current in the field
•Excellent communication skills
•Good interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Experience in a library systems environment
