Position Overview:
The Accounting Operations Assistant primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Accounting Team to ensure system data is current and accurate, and to assist with account collections, and accounts payable, as required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Preparing and entering daily deposits
- Preparing and entering adjusting entries
- Reviewing online banking system for incoming payments
- Reconciling Client accounts
- Answering client inquiries regarding invoicing questions
- Contacting clients for payments
- Sending statements and invoices to clients when requested
- Special projects as required by Credit & Collections Specialist and Accounting Team Leader
Requirements:
- One to three years of work experience in Accounting environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail oriented with ability to analyze data trends
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in Excel
