    Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily equipment and preventive maintenance inspections;
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs; ensure equipment is properly repaired on a timely basis;
  • Provide high quality control standards by inspecting and testing all equipment prior sending it to the job site;
  • Perform complete inspections and tag returned rental equipment, noting any damage or other necessary repairs and make repair recommendations;
  • Inspect work to ensure repairs and replacements have been completed correctly;
  • Identify any additional equipment issues while performing primary repair work;
  • Follow established procedures to track work and complete forms connected with work assignments;
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports (record repairs made, parts used, time spent on repairs, etc.);
  • Ensure the equipment is clean, properly maintained and in a optimal location;
  • Follow safety rules and regulations;
  • Occasionally participate in interventions on construction sites;
  • Perform any other additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience with small motors mechanics or general mechanics;
  • Vocational diploma in mechanics (preferred);
  • Welding experience (preferred);
  • Zoom boom operation experience (preferred);
  • Stress management skills;
  • Comfortable to work at heights;
  • Self-disciplined, honest, and mature;
  • Flexible and able to adjust to change;
  • Good learning abilities;
  • Work well with little supervision;
  • Physically able to carry out the requirements of the job (load/unload trucks)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safety conscious.
