Procurement Specialist
Marine Thinking is seeking a highly-motivated individual looking to join an agile, dynamic, and motivated team in the ocean artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technology industry.
We are looking for an experienced
Procurement Specialist for sourcing and purchasing material goods, and services required for our company's USV solutions and products.
The ideal
Procurement Specialist will have a strong procurement background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of highquality materials, goods, and services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and identify potential costsaving opportunities
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate pricing and terms of agreement
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise
- Manage the procurement process from initial order placement to delivery and payment processing
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and developments to identify potential new suppliers and costsaving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Promote indepth cooperation and expand the supply chain resources for ocean technologyrelated products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Knowledge in the marine industry, particularly related to government procurement regulations and requirements.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
