Location:
400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.

Hourly Wage:

$21-23 for experienced certified operator.

Company-paid group medical, dental and insurance after probation.

Job Duties:

Loading / unloading shipments and movement of products within our facility through the use of a counterbalance forklift, Raymond Reach, or electric pallet jack in a safe manner.
Prepare shipping dock to transfer out product.
Match product with shipping / receiving documents.
Verify shipping / receiving products' order numbers and codes.
Inspect products to ensure quality conditions with acceptable coding identification.
Stage and load shipment skids onto trailers using the forklift.
Process required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking shipped products.
Report discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
Follow current safety standards and procedures.

Requirements:

Attention to detail.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills.
Valid counterbalance forklift/Raymond Reach certificate.
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required.
Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
Ability to perform active physical labour, lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance, walk, stand and sit for long periods of time.
Commitment to product quality and safety.
Respect diversity treat others with respect.
Safety footwear.

Working Conditions:

This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, heat, and cold.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. seatbelt, safety glasses, gloves, steeltoed safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.)
