    Position Details

    POSITION:
    Teacher Assistant – Round Lake Education Center

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    – Associate's degree in a related field or commensurate experience

    – 1-3 years' working with students preferred

    JOB FUNCTIONS:
    – Supervise the Transition Room

    – Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help

    – Collaborate with the Director and Teacher to establish and maintain a positive learning environment

    – Help to manage student behavior

    – Supervise students as needed during classroom activities, breaks, lunch, and field trips

    – Perform clerical tasks as needed

    – Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall functioning of the school

    – Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance.

    – Other responsibilities as assigned at the direction of the RLEC Director, Teacher, or Director of Instructional Services

    REPORTS TO:
    Director of Instructional Services

    DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION:

    CONTRACT LENGTH:

    190 days annually, school year
