At SD48, we believe

All teachers

must be prepared to use a variety of technology for planning, attendance

monitoring, communicating classroom instruction and reporting, and be prepared

to support the School Improvement Plan and District goals through Indigenous

Qualifications:
possession of a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;

university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,
- successful teaching

experience relevant to the posted position

SEA TO SKY ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL

must:
- possess relevant university training, or its

equivalent related to the position;
- possess relevant, successful teaching experience in Humanities and Outdoor Education at the middle and secondary school levels;
- possess knowledge and experience in project-based

learning, including the design of projects that are multidisciplinary in

nature;
- possess knowledge and experience in restorative

practices and managing multi-age classrooms at the middle and secondary levels;
- possess experience, knowledge and demonstrated success

teaching in an alternate school setting;
- be familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards;
and,
- have a solid understanding and knowledge of the new

Ministry curriculum and competencies.
