Description
BCSI Investigations Inc., is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

You will be the face of "The Firm", the first point of contact.

As our new Administrative Assistant will provide support to our CEO, private investigators, project managers and IT specialists, assisting in daily office needs, and managing "The Firm 's" general administrative activities.


Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule consultations
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Proof and edit of all investigative reports
  • Maintain our digital and hard copy filing for each client
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and vendors (if required)
  • Preparation of newsletters and uploading to website
  • Marketing, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other marketing platforms
  • Travel itinerary for files (if applicable)
  • Submit and reconcile expenses
  • Process payments provided by clients

Skills Requirements

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure

Salary:
$24.00-$28.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
BCSI Investigations Inc. is conducting virtual interviews if required by the applicant. All clients must fill out a COVID-19 form prior to entering the office.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • West Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)
