Description

Responsibilities:


  • Provide Liebherr equipment specific technical advice, guidance and troubleshooting to technicians and their customers.
  • Meet with customers for service issues, this also includes participation in scheduled customer service meetings.
  • Liaise with Liebherr factories for inquiries, technical questions, feedback and follow up closely to ensure timely responses.
  • Technical support of warranty and goodwill cases.
  • Support parts department for special inquiries.
  • Assure all service information and bulletins are clearly communicated to the service departments.
  • Advise supervisors and the training team about technical training requirements for technicians.
  • Advanced understanding of oil analysis, make technical recommendations based on sample results.
  • Ability to perform failure analysis on components.
  • Ability to use LiDAT, LISA and all other factories' software to review historical data and trends.
  • Maintain and update problem database.
  • Share technical information and solutions proactively with the service departments
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Competencies:

-
More than 7 years of direct Liebherr equipment experience

Previous experience using LiDAT and LISA is required

Must be able to read, write, and speak in English in an effictive fashion

  • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
  • Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange, repair and warranty related activities
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
  • You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • You are selfmotivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
  • Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
