***- Maintain customer accounts as assigned.

  • Ensure timely issuance of billings.
  • Prepare manual invoices as required.
  • Sort and mail invoices to customers.
  • Processing of credit card payments
  • Liaison with customers, Sales, Client Services & IT staff re: pricing/product discrepancies.
  • Timely processing of approved customer credit/rebill adjustments.
  • Ensure customer accounts are fully reconciled on a timely basis.
  • Call customers for outstanding payments on overdue accounts.
  • Monitor customer aging and follow up on invoices in question to resolve disputes and hasten collection.
  • Maintain customer files including contract history and a record of all customer interactions.
  • Perform other related duties that may arise or be assigned.

RELATIONS WITH OTHERS

  • Internally, the Billing and Collections Analyst interacts daily with the staff in Finance, Sales, Client
Services and IT.

  • Externally, the incumbent liaises regularly with the accounts payable departments of customers and
private payers as applicable.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Diploma
  • Basic knowledge of general accounting principles with two years in a computerized accounting
environment.

  • Experience with SAP Systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

OTHER

  • Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new programs quickly and use them efficiently.
Working knowledge of WORD and EXCEL is mandatory.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changes of responsibility reflective of the business requirements.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and schedule daily activities while working under tight time constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to deal positively with all levels within and outside the
organization.
