Description
Small scale machine shop is looking to hire a full time CNC setup/operator.Responsibilities:
- Gcode and Mcode interpretation
- Machining parts from Steel, Tool Steel, Aluminum etc.
- Setup tooling and setup parts for first off
- Using micrometers and calipers to check machined parts
Qualifications:
- CNC Machinist with minimum 23 years experience ideal
- Experience with machine setup/modifying programs/programming (Fanuc control)
- Custom job shop experience would be considered an asset
- CAM experience would be considered an asset
- Good communication skills
- Someone who is highly motivated and a team player
Salary:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, On: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Machine Setup Operator: 2 years (preferred)
