Westward Parts Services Ltd. serves the Western Canadian agriculture markets from its facilities in Red Deer, Regina and Winnipeg.PURPOSE and SCOPE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver an enjoyable customer experience by following established customer service standards and processes
- Respond to phone, online and/or fax orders from customers efficiently and accurately
- Provide knowledge and assistance to customers on products, help to identify products, provide price quotations and expected delivery times
- Confirm and process orders and update accounts payable information in the computer system
- Provide customers with updates to seasonal programs or changes in policies as required
- Work with customers and team members to find acceptable solutions to questions or concerns.
- Track and trace packages with multiple carriers
- Contribute to the strategic goals by creating a positive work environment that includes respect for others, open communication and a commitment to teamwork.
- Participate in team meetings and take part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge
- Other responsibilities as required and/or as assigned by the Customer Service Manager
- The standard schedule of work for this role is varied to accommodate the busy harvest season and may include the occasional weekend shift and/or alterations to the hours of operation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required. Additional education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Agriculture will be an asset.
- 2+ years customer service experience within a manufacturing, logistics or distribution warehouse is preferred.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions.
- Exhibits a friendly, positive approach to providing to customer service experience
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of agricultural, plumbing, sprayer parts/liquid handling parts considered an asset
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new products, processes and market conditions
- Knowledge of JDE-Oracle and CISCO is an asset, but not necessary.
