The
Analyst, Information Management will provide support in developing, implementing and enhancing a data and information management framework in line with the Data Utilization vision and strategy.

Work closely with ITS and business stakeholders / SMEs to translate operational uses of data, improve the usability of data and provide context of data.

Require completing artifacts related to Information Management on behalf of the Enterprise while sharing knowledge and educating stakeholders on leveraging data for decisioning

A typical day will involve:

Executing and delivering assigned data management, mapping, and lineage work from both a project and business BAU perspective.

Work with SMEs and technology partners to understand, document and periodically review data management artifacts that add context to the company's data.

Organize, coordinate, and assist cross-functional teams in planning, development, and execution of data management oriented processes at the operational level.

Maintain data management processes and controls by working with project, technology and business stakeholders to analyze the impact of future changes.

Clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical teams and recommend actions to stakeholders of all aptitudes that increase the usability of data.

Challenge bias and influence by highlighting the reasons why this type of work benefits each stakeholder.
Act as a thought leader.
Validate metadata, compile and validate related documentation to enable the organization to use the data.
Continuous learning and development around Vancity's products and services and best practice in information management delivery and data integration

You have:

Postsecondary education with Diploma/Degree
24 years' experience in banking, customer service, social finance, or related field
Strong interpersonal and writing skills
Strong English communications skills (oral and written)
