Responsibilities
- FOLLOWING PROPER FOOD HANDLING TECHNIQUES
- Dates labels stores food properly KEEPING WORK AREA CLEAN AND UNCLUTTERED COMPLETES SCHEDULED CLEANING DUTIES MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS OF FLOORS IN THE FOOD PREPARATION DISH ROOM AND STORAGE AREAS SUPPORTS ALL ASPECTS OF OPTIMAL FOOD SERVICE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE RESIDENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH INFECTION CONTROL QUALITY MANAGEMENT LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS AND THE ORGANIZATION STANDARDS ASSISTING IN THE PREPARATION OF MEALS SERVING MEALS AND BEVERAGES FOLLOWING RESIDENTS DIETS AND FOOD PREFERENCES USING PROPER PORTION SIZES TAKING ORDERS FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND MENU CHOICES FROM RESIDENTS BY RESIDENT NAME AND PREFERENCE SELECTION FOLLOWING LIKES AND DISLIKES SETTING CLEARING TABLES IN THE DINNING ROOM WASHINGSANITIZONG TABLE CHAIRSERVERIES PERFORMENIG OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED MUST MAINTAIN CURRENT SAFE FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH CORRECT PROCEDURE FOR SERVICEHANDLINGOFFOOD ABILITY TO OPERATEINSTITUTIONALCOOKINEQUIPMENTFOREXAMPLEDISHWASHERCONVEYORTOASTERMEATSICLER MUST HAVE EFFECTIVE VERBAL WRITTEN ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS YOU MUST BEELEGALLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK INCANADA OR HAVE AVAILIDWORKSTUDYPERMIT YOU MUSTRUN SUCCESSFULLY PASS VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position SIENNA SENIOR LIVING IS COMMITTED EMPLOYMENT EQUITY DIVERSITY inclusion in the workplace In accordance with provincial regulations upon request support will be provided accommodations throughout the recruitment selection assessment process.
