The Facilities Engineering branch provides enterprise portfolio services to support the execution of strategic plans, service delivery plans, corporate and operational initiatives.

Services include IT business services support; project and program planning and delivery though traditional and agile practices; project, program and portfolio processes and standards management and quality assurance; portfolio planning, portfolio balancing and optimization, portfolio financial management, governance, and risk management.


As a Business System Analyst Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the analysis and enhancement of business systems and processes within our organization.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and deliver that align with strategic objectives.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications, and business process designs.
  • Schedule, plan, and lead requirements gathering and review meetings in the development and documentation of Business, Functional and Technical Requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements and design sessions with business areas and technical teams.
  • Modeling and documenting key features and specifications of technical solutions.
  • Creation and maintenance of standard project artefacts including process workflow diagrams, test plans, communication plans, operating models.
  • Contribute to final solution design by identifying data, functional, and nonfunctional needs.
Solution Design and Implementation

  • Work closely with business and technical teams to design and implement effective solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, data flows, and integration points.
  • Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices and industry standards.
  • Liaise with the testing team to define and execute system testing such as functional, load, and integration.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and support teams to develop and execute User Acceptance Testing
  • Coordinate all testing activities.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and vendors/suppliers to develop and implement business processes.
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
  • Develop and execute training programs for end users and power users, including documentation.
  • Contribute to program/project planning and execution.
  • Establish a structured approach with Operations staff to align with change control processes to ensure efficient endtoend delivery of updates and changes.
Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on business analysis and software implementation.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: PLM, QMS, MES, CRM, Jira, Cloud: SaaS, Microsoft M365 (OneDrive, Outlook Cloud, SharePoint, Power BI, Teams), Jira, Cloud: SaaS.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work alongside Project Managers to supply Business Analysis services during a project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytic
