Supervisor, Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Position Description
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Supervisor, SCM.

Reporting to the Manager, Nutritional Service and Supply Chain Management, the Supervisor's key role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain Management Department, including working with the Manager to establish delivery schedules to meet CAMH needs, monitoring fleet safety, staffing, payroll, involvement of the recruitment process of new frontline staff, providing departmental orientation and training, as well as evaluating and supporting the development of frontline staff.

The Supervisor is responsible for inventory control, auditing, and overseeing the distribution of goods across CAMH. The Supervisor continually strives to improve customer satisfaction and cost control while providing a client-centric approach to service.

You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, fosters inclusion, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications
Experience with strategic planning, developing goals and proven ability to meet tight deadlines is required.

The Supervisor, SCM will have strong customer service, coaching and teambuilding skills, as well as strong leadership and proven ability to make decisions quickly and deal professionally with patients and staff.

Proven ability to cultivate both internal and external relationships, effectively communicate work instructions and expectations to frontline staff (both written and verbal), and monitor quality of work is required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment are essential to this role.

You will have the demonstrated ability to work independently in a self-directed manner with mínimal supervision. A solid understanding of LEAN or Continuous Improvement methodology would be an asset. Ability to work with diverse patients and staff is required. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
