Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling patients and taking payments with debit machine
  • Answering the phone
  • Communicating with insurance adjusters
  • Typing: treatment plans, work notes, doctor's notes, etc.
  • Filing and organizing
  • General cleaning and office maintenance
  • Ordering supplies
  • Accounts receivables and accounts payable, including invoicing benefits providers and car insurance companies
  • Assisting patients with paperwork

Very beneficial to have experience with:

  • Telus Health portal and other EHC sites for submitting claims directly to benefit providers
  • Familiarity with MVA insurance (OCF) forms to assist patients
  • Motor Vehicle Accident health claims including MIG guidelines, use of HCAI site for billing and treatment plan submission
  • Clinical software for scheduling patients and payments
  • Multidisciplinary setting managing several practitioners' schedules
  • Microsoft Word and Excel

We have installed plastic sneeze guards and enforce a strict screening process for patients/staff entering our clinic.


Job Types:

Salary:
$36,000.00-$50,000.00 per year


COVID-19 considerations:
Strict Covid -19 screening in place for patients and staff entering the clinic.
