Shift:
Monday to Friday, 3:00PM to 11:15PM

A

Receiving Clerk will unload trucks and receive shipments to verify information against bills of lading, accepts or rejects freight and put stock away in the correct storage location.

_Duties and Responsibilities:
_

Unload trucks using hand truck, pallet jack or forklift
Use basic hand tools such as utility knives, screwdrivers, band cutters and hammers
Inspects freight for damage
Maintain proper storage including rotating stock and cycle counts
Issue stock to production departments
Pull and issue cores for quick turns and remakes
Enter shipment and stock data into computer
Maintain a clean and orderly work area

_Essential Knowledge & Skills:
_

Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
Able to lift 50lbs (23 kg) without straining, and be able to stand throughout the shift

_Education and Experience:
_

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Forklift License is an asset
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

Please note due to Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements, all applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident in Canada.
