Reporting to the Global Director of Learning and Development, the Manager, Learning and Development will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs to support our employees' professional growth and our company's success.
Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and delivery of a variety of learning programs, including onboarding, security guard training, compliance training, leadership development, technical skills training, internal systems training
- Set, promote and cultivate the standards of highquality learning and development practices throughout training programs delivered across the organisation
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Continuously assess and adapt learning methodologies and technologies to ensure best practices and relevant
- Track, report and analyze employee training programs through GardaWorld's LMS
- Manage and lead a team of learning specialists, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their performance
- Continuously adapt learning methodologies and technologies to offer consistently impactful training across the organisation
- Collaborate closely with HR to integrate learning and development initiatives into talent management, performance reviews, and career progression
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Director and business unit leaders on the impact of learning and development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design)
- 10 years of experience in learning and development, including 2 years in a leadership or management capacity
- Proven track record of developing and executing learning and development initiatives and training programs
- Indepth knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Exceptional teamwork and management skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities
- Strong analytical and datadriven decisionmaking abilities
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and elearning software
- Certification in learning and development is a plus
