The opportunity
We are currently looking for an
Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper to join our dynamic and growing company.
Working as an integral part of our team, he or she will focus on maintaining office services and bookkeeping by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing contracts,AP, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and preparing contracts.
- Updating of office records and databases that contain personnel, financial, and office data.
- Ensuring availability to help colleagues and employees where necessary.
- Supporting accounts payable, process invoices, cheques and EFT payment files and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Customer invoicing and reviewing the accounts receivable and regular followup with Customer on overdue accounts to ensure prompt payment.
- Work with our accountants, consultants, and banks when necessary.
- Performing other relevant duties when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1year of experience preferably in an office setting.
- Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High levels of selfmotivation and desire for selfimprovement.
- Proficient in all Microsoft office programs.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin speaking is must.
