RESPONSIBILITIES

Must have at least 1 year of on-shore experience i.e. working in the immigration industry in Canada.

  • An asset if Licensed with Immigration Consultant of Canada Regulatory Council

Immigration Appeals (Immigration Appeal Division, Immigration Division, Refugee Appeal Division, Detention Review, Admissibility, Removal Order, Pre-Removal Risk Assessment )

  • Legal Support with respect to all Canadian immigration matters
  • Following up and organize file lists
Additional Skills

  • Fast-Paced Environment, Work Under Pressure, Tight Deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Could add up if Hindi or Punjabi are preferred as a second language
  • Excellent communication and document management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to conduct extensive research, both electronically and otherwise
  • Selfmotivated

Salary:
$35,000.00-$55,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- legal assistant: 1 year (preferred)
