Job Opening:
Maintenance Millwright (Weekend Shift)

Weekend shift: 5:00am – 5:00pm Friday/Saturday/Sunday – work 36 hours, paid for 40 if you work your full schedule.

Fully-ticketed maintenance (millwright or electricians) $/Hour. Installs, maintains and repairs all mechanical and electrical systems and machinery at the plant.
# Provide support to production in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
# Complies with necessary manufacturing codes, regulations, and standards (GMP, HACCP, WHIMIS, MSDS, etc.).
# Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities. Identify opportunities to continuously improve maintenance operations.
# Completes Maintenance reports and logs as required.
# Ensure all production equipment is serviced as required.
# Enforce established safety, health, contamination, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
# Track building and equipment repairs.
# Ensure work areas are clean of debris and hazards at all times.
# Valid Millwright license.
~ Proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe & milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), and pneumatic & hydraulic fields.
~2-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.
~ Service, clean and perform preventive maintenance and overhaul on all production equipment.
~ Adherence to Food Safety Protocols.
~ Must have Ontario Millwright License.

Option to participate in GRF Pension Program after three-month probation.
