This position undertakes administrative and operational responsibilities in recruiting, matching and confirming field placement positions for the Early Childhood Education Programs in the Child and Family Studies Department within the Faculty of Integrated Health amp; Community Care.

Responsibilities
- Active outreach to new agencies to recruit new field placement positions
- Maintaining existing field placement partnerships initiating contacts exploring opportunities with new agencies as appropriate visiting sites required Negotiating expansions to existing or create different creative placements opportunities with agencies through liaison with agencies Responding directly agency personnel regarding concerns issues timely effective manner disseminating issue response actions appropriate College faculty staff following up required Responsible maintaining active outreach presence support existing potential placements ensuring Program Chairs Coordinators informed status issues opportunities Developing newsletter engage inform partners semester basis Arranging implementing Recognition Appreciation events field partners collaboration program areas Managing student matching process students following process successfully confirm placement Identify students extra support needed work faculty teams coordinators provide support Maintaining database track field information including site student college supervisor Prior each semester obtaining enrollment projections flow-through student numbers program coordinators use requesting future placements Collect tracking documentation information Agency Contract forms WSIB forms other specific documentation meet placement requirements Developing maintaining statistical records reports overall evaluation activity disseminate relevant timely data chairs coordinators Ongoing consultation applicable Program Coordinators faculty teams ensure implemented processes effective efficient Participating various meetings bearing on field activity within Community area Creating monitoring updating distributing high quality communication tools materials internally externally supporting aspects field activity Communicate written verbally matching processes policies students clear manner deescalate student concerns conflict Collaborating Chairs Program Coordinators staff mentors addressing problems issues timely basis Other duties assigned Operations Manager Associate Dean including front desk coverage needed
