Position Information
The Supplier Quality Coordinator supports the Quality Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve supplier quality problems. The incumbent will assist in creating and implementing receiving inspection standard work and inspection documents. The Coordinator will be able to multitask with multiple commodities pertaining the receiving inspection plans.

The creation of documents pertaining to new model launch receiving inspection plans is a main responsibility, as well as lead receiving inspection systems and kaizen plans.

The Supplier Quality Coordinator will also support the Quality Specialist with supplier PPAP review.


Position Responsibilities

  • Receiving Inspection_
  • Develop and maintain supplier risk mitigation documentation and receiving inspection dashboard.
  • Develop RI sampling plan based on at risk assessment to protect manufacturing lines
  • Work with the direction of Specialists to develop standard work instructions for receiving inspection sampling plans.
  • Assist in training new members to the receiving inspection systems.
  • Participate in auditing new and atrisk suppliers
  • Issue and follow up on SCARs for defective parts received. Report out on progress of C/M activity to ACI MGT.
  • Develop suppliers to meet the needs of ACI and suggest system improvements.
  • Communicate Aisin SQAM requirements to the supply base.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure proper compensation for lost parts as a result of a nonconformance (RAN).
  • Manage the Jagger system daily to issue supplier SCARs and countermeasure responses.
  • Assist quality specialists in quality inspection/test plans for product lines. This includes FMEA's, MQC's, Receiving Inspections, F/O Inspections, Dock audits, PA and PPAP preparations, Product Validation and submissions for new products.
  • Creating/Updating Work Instruction_
  • Create sorting work instructions for complex issues pertaining to receiving inspection
  • Work in collaboration with Quality Specialist to update and maintain quality documents
  • Assist in the CAR or concern resolutions and closures of internal concerns and suppliers in cross functional meetings as required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Ability to develop, create and maintain Inspection Standards, PFMEAs, MQCs, Control Plans, Procedural flows and other core quality documents
  • Work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to use geometry, statistics and GD&T, read and interpret drawings.
  • Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and height gauges as well as train others on the proper use.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and follow up on the same
  • Demonstrated ability to use software programs such as Excel, MS Word and Power point
  • Experience with multiple ACI commodities.
  • Toyota methodology experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Aisin Supplier SQAM

Education

  • Be enrolled or willing to enroll in Quality Assurance Certificate program
