We are looking to hire an IoT Technician who will take the lead on hardware assembly, testing, and quality control.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Assembling IoT hardware, including stripping wires, tightening glands, checking gaskets, precisiontorquing plastic housings
  • Responsible for our IoT hardware preshipment testing and quality control process, including maintaining accurate records of device testing results in an ERP system
  • Track hardware inventory and maintain an accurate inventory database
  • Collaborate with the product team as required to accomplish deliverables
  • Prepare and package hardware for shipping
  • Use FedEx and Purolator shipping portals for creating and printing labels

Preferred:


  • Electronics/Technician diploma
  • Experience in IOT/automotive/consumer electronics manufacturing and/or quality control
  • Comfortable with soldering surfacemounted components on dense PCBs
  • Experience writing testing/diagnostic scripts in Python

Job Types:

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
