Description
Tytan Tile in Brampton, Ontario is seeking 1 experienced Tile setter for commercial and residential construction. This is a permanent full-time position with an hourly wage of $33.80 for 40 hours per week.Skill Requirements:

Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Tasks:
- Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Prepare rough plans and sketches
- Align and straighten tiles
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
- Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite
- Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces
- Install tile strips
