Asbestos Abatement Worker - Ottawa, Canada - Ottawa Demolition and Removals

Description

Job Duties

• Removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos
• Containment setups and take downs
• Cleaning of materials and equipment
• Follow health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid asbestos ticket
• Able to follow directions
• Communication skills
• Team player

Physical Requirements

• Clean shaven and able to wear a mask
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs without assistance
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Work from ladders or scaffolding
• Work from heights
• Work in tight clearances

Additional certifications such as Confined Space, Fall Arrest, First Aid, H2S, Driver's license are considered assets.
