Junior Electrical Estimator/project Coordinator - Markham, Canada - ELECTRIC GROUP LTD

Description

Qualifications:
High level of proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel and MS Word is required.

Experience or education in electrical estimating or project management is an asset.

Experience or familiarity with Ontario Electrical Code, Accubid and/or Jonas Project Management Software is an asset.

Experience or familiarity with electrical products, parts and tools.

Gold Seal Certified in Construction Management or Working Towards this is an asset.

Responsibilities would include;

• Assisting the Estimators and Project Managers.
• Assisting the Project Managers or Estimators with estimates and change order management.
• Analyze labour and material data from projects to create KPIs.
• Analyze and audit projects costs vs project estimates.
• Advise management on where savings and efficiencies can be improved upon.
• Assist management in implementing special projects for business development.
• Create purchase orders for project materials and input supplier invoice into accounting software.
• Procuring and organizing materials and tools.
• Create project schedules with Gannt Charts in MS Project.
• Attend project meetings or site walkthroughs.
• Manage permits with the Electrical Safety Authority.
• Helping to resolve technical issues as they relate to the projects.
• General administrative tasks.

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
