    SUMMARY

    The Master Production Scheduler will schedule daily plant production to meet and/or exceed customer quality and delivery requirements and communicate to manufacturing, quality and logistics personnel.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Optimize use of available machine and labour resources based on customer releases.
  • Analyze daily production vs. planned schedule and make appropriate production schedule adjustments.
  • Analyze customer demand fluctuations and prepare short and long-term production schedule adjustments.
  • Work closely with Material Planners to schedule MRP weekly run for vendor releases.
  • Schedule and communicate requirements for PSO, mold trial runs, engineering changes and preventative maintenance for machinery and tooling.
  • Other duties as assigned in the related areas of manufacturing support, material planning support and customer service support.
  • EHS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledgeable in their duties and responsibilities in accordance with Health and safety legislation in Ontario.
  • Knowledgeable in the company's duties and responsibilities in accordance with Environmental legislation in Ontario and Canada.
  • Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary education (Bachelor's Degree) in material planning, production and inventory control or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of SAP Hanna P4M concepts and J-I-T principles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility in work hours.
  • Production planning experience preferred
  • Experience with material planning, production and inventory control
  • Knowledge injection molding, assembly, and manpower constraints
  • Solid Interpersonal, Team, Organizational; Facilitation and Presentation skills. As well as decision making and creativity skills
  • Meets or exceeds mutually agreed upon individual, departmental and operational objectives.
