Seeking to hire a Street Sweeper Operator for the 2024 construction season.

We have Elgin Street Sweepers, which require an operator to hold a valid class 3 drivers license with the Q air brakes endorsement valid.


Some job tasks and responsibilities are: wear all required PPE, follow and participate in safety programs, hazard assessments, preparation of machine for shift, drive sweeper on city streets to and from site safely, follow maps and directions, use of smart phone with internet data access required, safety documentation and reporting, competently operate sweeper on a variety of sites around Edmonton, work safely around other workers and equipment, dump sweeper hopper safely, use of water source to fill tanks and clean out machine, working alone, good communication skills, professional and friendly attitude.

Also hiring several other positions for asphalt paving in Edmonton. Tandem dump truck operators. Paving crew operators including roller, paver, skid steer, and labourers needed as well.


Salary:
$30.00-$38.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

Sweeper Operating: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Class 3 Drivers License (required)
  • Air Brake Endorsement (required)
  • Clean Drivers Abstract (required)
