ScalePad is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our go-to-market strategy and client expansion for one of our product domains which encompass asset lifecycle management, BCDR, vCIO, compliance & security, and business intelligence.


Reporting to our Director, Product Marketing, you'll be responsible for managing the overarching Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy including the commercialization and in-market lifecycle of your assigned domain.

This includes supporting, planning, and executing the launches of new products, services, & features, as well as working cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation.

Working closely with marketing, product, success, and sales, you will continuously develop and iterate content, marketing collateral, and training that resonates with our customers to tell a compelling story.


This role will conduct market research on current trending products, influence pricing and naming, enable sales teams, and develop messaging and market positioning around one of our product domains.

You will also keep tabs on the competitive marketplace and client needs to develop strategies that drive our expansion and improve our retention.

Responsibilities.

  • Own the 4 key product marketing areas for our offerings in one product domain: messaging & positioning, GTM / product launches, growth, and competitive intelligence.
  • Be the goto marketing resource for your product domain for general managers, product managers, solutions engineers, sales, support, and other productline related key stakeholders.
  • Lead the gotomarket plan, ensuring that all customerfacing teams are onmessage and that all channels are maximized.
  • Understand the market landscape, industry, pain points, and ongoing differentiation for target audiences, to inform the product roadmap and marketing strategy.
  • Conduct client research and represent the voice of the customer within the organization.
  • Lead, plan, manage, and execute the launches of new products and features.
  • Create engaging materials and deliver regular enablement sessions to our sales team.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support new launches and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns and coordinate with various stakeholders on the marketing team to achieve campaign goals.
  • Develop content for target personas at different stages of their buyer journey, including scoping & creation of B2B as well as B2B2B sales materials.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging and content that resonates with our target buyer personas.
  • Identify gaps in the partner journey, and work crossfunctionally to improve the process to support net new customer acquisition, crosssales, product utilization, and retention.
Qualifications.

Minimum 3 years experience as a Product Marketing Manager
:


  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a B2B SaaS company.
  • Product Marketing Certification (PMA, Pragmatic, Reforge, etc.)
  • Strategic planning and business skills demonstrated through market planning and growth for a product/solution.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Experience in conducting and analyzing/using market research to drive a GTM strategy.
  • Customer focused with the demonstrated ability to translate market needs or problems into marketing opportunities and solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for storytelling.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Superior crossfunctional communication skills, with the ability to influence teams across the organization.
  • Strong collaboration and team approach with the ability to create inclusive, productive working environments that move work forward.
