WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis team in developing and standardizing business unit reporting.
  • Collaborate with Project team and thirdparty consultant to support the extension of EPM at other NFI Group entities.
  • Consult with external financial reporting team to develop the basis of Narrative reporting solutions to automate generation of external facing financial statement.
  • Leading and contributing to analysis for the purpose of identifying continuous improvement opportunities in the business.
  • Assisting in business process conversions and implementation plans for local and remote sites.
  • Supporting acceptance testing of system enhancements and monthly patch updates to ensure system functions in accordance with detailed specifications and internal audit requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA designation is an asset.
  • 35 years' experience in enterprise or accounting business systems.
  • Project management and/or business analysis training is an asset.
  • System configuration and/or development experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge business process redesign or reengineering is an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking skills and ability to be successful in a collaborative team environment.
