Warehouse Associate, Mississauga, Ontario

We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Mississauga location for a highly motivated team player as a Warehouse Associate.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for organizing the daily workload, making sure pertinent orders are completed in a timely matter (including cutting and picking of sales orders), noting any discrepancies and advising the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor and helping in maintaining a clean, safe and organized environment.

What Your Day May Look Like:

Ensure orders are correctly picked and cut.
Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
Adhere to final inspection and shipping procedures.
Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe situations to Manager or Supervisor
Participate in inventory preparation and completion of company inventory counts.
Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

Two (2) years broad warehouse/distribution experience or a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.
Cutting wire/cable is an asset.
Ability to load and unload materials.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, bend, squat and stand.
Ability to manage an inventory system.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Be aware of your surroundings including mental, physical, visual and environment conditions.
