The first Hammam Spa by Céla was founded by Celine Tadrissi in 2005 in Downtown Toronto, and for the past 18 years, Hammam Spa has been Canada's top Day Spa, servicing the people of Toronto at its 602 King Street West location.

The second location opened at Toronto's Bayview Village mall in 2019.


Hammam Spa by Céla is a full-service day that offers our clients a spiritual sanctuary from everyday life, providing one-of-a-kind spa experiences to soothe both body and spirit.

CONTRIBUTIONS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with Hammam's Management team to ensure corporate objectives for this location are being met.
  • Works closely with the Spa Coordinators and Service Providers to ensure that guest services are being delivered to standard.
  • Oversees the spa's booking order, room allocation and overall spa calendar ensuring bookings are optimized.
  • Coordinating scheduling and labour controls by moving appointments, or ensuring that if service providers are not booked, they have another duty assigned to them.
  • Seeking out employee feedback with maintaining an opendoor policy, to identify and address employee problems or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provides supportive, enthusiastic, and inclusive leadership to all staff.
  • Regularly interacts with guests to ensure satisfaction, and diligently manages client conflicts and complaints.
  • Be a leader by contributing to a positive team atmosphere for learning and development, and by conveying clear instructions and guidance to staff
  • Work with the spa Managers in planning events
  • Other tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • A minimum of 5 years of Luxury Spa Industry experience is a strong asset.
  • A hospitality Management degree is an asset.
  • At least 3 years of experience overseeing a team.
  • Working understanding of Booker/Book4Time is an asset.
  • Computer literate, and strength with Microsoft Office and Google Suite requires.
