    Closures Technical Centre, a division of Magna International Inc., is focused on the design, development and testing of Mechatronics products for the automotive industry.

    Your Responsibilities


  • Support Accounts Payable activities including reconciliations, auditing transactions, preparing purchase orders, cash receipts, payments and reporting
  • Performs Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Performs General Ledger activities including journal entries, banking, foreign exchange, government reporting, fixed assets, HST filing, weekly cash flow projections, balancing inter-company accounts, month-end and year-end closing of books
  • Prepares management reports for internal audits, transfer pricing and SR&ED
  • Assists with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Audit and processes expense reports in Concur
  • Prepares manual cheques and wire transfers
  • Additional Responsibilities


  • Maintains cheque stock and chart of accounts
  • Prepares KPI reports
  • Prepares Working Capital report
  • Prepares Headcount report
  • Prepares CMF binder (Controllers Model File)
  • Follows Magna's Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policies
  • Perform other duties as required

  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or Business
  • Pursuing CPA designation
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • Related manufacturing/automotive experience
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office,/Lotus Notes)
  • Experience working with SAP preferred
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (Vlookup, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and organize effort.
