Queen Margaret's School is currently searching for a highly skilled and creative Director of Academics to join our team.As a Director of Academics, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with senior faculty, department heads, and leadership teams to shape the academic program for students in Grades 8-12.
QMS has a unique mix of day and boarding students from Preschool up to Grade 12, catering to both domestic and international families.

As the Director of Academics, you will inspire our students to achieve their full potential by promoting exceptional teaching practices and a student-centered approach to learning.
An overview of the responsibilities of this role includes:- Work collaboratively with senior faculty, department heads, and leadership teams to shape the academic program for students in Grades 8-1
- Ensure that the program meets the highest standards set by the Ministry of Education and CAIS while also fostering a future-forward view of educational practices.
- Promote exceptional teaching practices and a studentcentered approach to learning.
- Inspire students to reach their full potential.
- Support the professional development of faculty and staff.
- Create inclusive, differentiated, and inquirybased programs that foster realworld relevance and a competencybased approach.
- Help shape the future of education at Queen Margaret's School.
Requirements:
- A passion for education and a commitment to providing an exceptional education to our students.
- A recognized teaching degree and a minimum of five years of experience in educational leadership.
- A strong understanding of the latest pedagogical practices and educational trends.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive, differentiated, and studentcentered program.
